Sub-Engineers
Age : Minimum age 18 years and maximum age 36 years as on 01.07.2012. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years for SC/ST candidates and upto 10 years for PH candidates is allowed. In respect of Ex-serviceman -3 years & length of service rendered in the armed forces. (The age relaxation for ExServicemen is applicable for those who have been released from Armed Forces, otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency)
Educational Qualifications : Pass in Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or) Graduation in Electrical Engineering in addition to Diploma in Electrical Engineering or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Board/Government of A.P/India/UGC/DEC/ AICTE as the case may be. Note :

• Degrees awarded under Distance mode through study centres by other State Universities (beyond A.P. State) are not legally valid.
• If there is any deviation from the above qualifications for posts, the candidate shall produce the equivalent certificate from the authority issuing the qualification certificate viz., Registrar of the University or Secretary of the Institute for accepting his/her application.
• Candidates with Graduation only in Engineering (EEE) without Diploma in EEE need not apply.

Selection Procedure : Selections will be made on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination as mentioned in the eligibility criteria
MODE OF APPLICATION 

• Eligible candidates may submit their applications so as to reach the Superintending Engineer/Operation Circle/APEPDCL/Opp: Green Park Hotel, Visakhapatnam by 5 PM on or before 07.06.2013AN.
• The applications should be sent in a cover superscripted as: “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF SUB-ENGINEER/EL IN APEPDCL”
