AGE : Not below 18 years and not more than 34 years as on 31.03.2013. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
QUALIFICATIONS : Pass in DEEE/LEE or equivalent qualification from any institutions recognized by State or Central Govt. (no other diploma branch holders are eligible to apply. Higher qualification with Electrical Branch can also apply). The qualification acquired through Distance Mode will be considered as per S.O.O (CGM-HRD) Ms.No. 105, Dt. 15.09.2008.

TRAINING CUM PROBATION : The Candidates appointed to the post shall be placed on Training – cum – Probation for a period of 2 years. During the period of Training – cum – Probation he/she will be paid the minimum of the pay scale along with admissible allowances.
SELECTION PROCEDURE : The eligible candidates will be required to appear for a written examination at Tirupati centre. The following are the minimum qualifying marks in the written test for SC/ST candidates – 30% or as per Rules and other terms of residential Order. Selection will be made 100% based on merit in written examination and after verification of certificates. The merit candidates community wise will be called for verification of certificates in 1:2 ratio. Based on the No. of applications received written test may be conducted (or) the selection may be made based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT : The candidates appointed will be required to execute a bond (in Non-Judicial Stamp Paper worth Rs.110/- (Rupees One hundred and ten only) at the time of joining, to serve APSPDCL for a minimum period of 5 years after completion of Training – Cum – Probation Period of two years.

- Eligible candidates may submit their applications so as to reach the Chief General Manager/HRD/APSPDCL/Tirupati by 10-05-2013 on or before 05:00 PM
- Application received after the due date and time will be rejected summarily. The company will not be responsible for any postal delay.
- The applications should be sent in a sealed cover superscribed as : APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF SUB-ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL) IN APSPDCL ON REGULAR BASIS.
- The application should be submitted affixing recent passport size photo attested by a
- Gazetted Officer and two photos in an envelope.
- The application should be accompanied by a Demand Draft drawn on any scheduled bank payable at Tirupati for Rs. 150/- (Rupees One hundred and fifty only) (non-refundable) obtained in favour of PAY OFFICER, APSPDCL, TIRUPATI. (PAYABLE AT TIRUPATI towards application processing fee.
